SAUCES & PICKLES: Sriracha sauce (125ml)
This tangy sweet hot Thai Chilli Sauce is a perfect addition to any pantry and adds a delicious spicy garlicky kick to just about any dish – delicious when added to fried noodles, as a dip for fried food (add may for a more mellow flavour) or as a punchy chicken wing marinade – this very yummy addictive sauce will take your toasted cheese sandwich to the next level
SRIRACHA HONEY SESAME CHICKEN WINGS RECIPES (serves 3-4)
INGREDIENTS
- 1kg Chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 table spoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ cup honey
- 1/3 cup Indomex Sriracha Sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon Indomex Sesame Oil
- Toasted Sesame Seeds as desired
To Serve
Golden Potato Wedges or Crunchy Asian Slaw
METHOD
- Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees celsius
- Line a baking sheet with tinfoil (trust me on this)
- Mix baking powder, salt, pepper and paprika together in a bowl and toss chicken wings in seasoning to coat
- Place wings on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes – turn wings and bake for a further 15 minutes
- Remove wings from oven and transfer to a large bowl4
- Whisk honey, sriracha, rice vinegar & sesame oil together until glaze is smooth and well combined
- Toss wings in glazed until well coated and then return to oven and bake for a further 10-15 minutes until super sticky and lightly browned
- Remove wings from oven and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds
- Serve immediately with loads of serviettes
